Entertainment Weekly and new Preview

I'm just drooling over my Entertainment Weekly today!

Sorry about the glare.

I also found that EW has a pretty cool page dedicated to all things Grey's.

Can't wait for 2007

This week is another repeat.
From TV Guide: Let the Angels Committ...
Derek receives a surprise visit from his sister (Embeth Davidtz); Cristina scrubs in for a rare procedure, to the envy of her peers; Addison and George treat a pregnant woman with an unusual problem; and Alex ponders his future in medicine.

And I just read this about Sandra Oh...
Love Notes: Divorce Final for Grey's Star
Per Us Weekly, Sandra Oh's divorce from writer-director Alexander Payne, with whom she did Sideways, was finalized on Dec. 21. The couple wed Jan. 1, 2003, and Oh filed for divorce 15 months later.... American Idol Carrie Underwood is dating Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo, says In Touch.... Kate Moss and on-again/off-again beau Pete Doherty may tie the knot this week in London, reports the U.K.'s Daily Mail. Now, I'm just spitballing here, but... maybe a honeymoon in Colombia?

Speaking of Sandra, I have been watching Six Feet Under on HBO On Demand, and caught her in one of the funeral scenes as a porn star. She was hilarious!!!

And check out what I got for Christmas...

Hope you have a happy new year! I'm looking forward to some new shows in January!

Here's an interview with Eric Dane

This writer doesn't like Grumpy George.
His darker side kind of reminds me of an angry Harry Potter. (If you've read the later books you know what I mean.)

Coming up on Grey's

Looks like the next new episode will be Jan. 4

From TV Guide...
Six Days - Grey's Anatomy
After a successful heart operation, George's father (George Dzundza) undergoes cancer surgery; Thatcher Grey (Jeff Perry) visits the hospital to see his new granddaughter; and Meredith discovers that Derek isn't a sound sleeper. Louise O'Malley: Debra Monk.

In the meantime...

Dec. 14: What I Am - Grey's Anatomy
As Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) joins the staff, Addison, who's not at all happy about it, comes to doubt her medical skills. Meanwhile, Cristina pushes Burke's rehab; Meredith has a personal medical emergency; and Izzie gets a surprise. Fred Ward guest stars as Denny Duquette's father.

Dec. 21: Oh, the Guilt - Grey's Anatomy
Bailey treats a young mother with breast cancer; Derek learns more about Addison's relationship with Mark, and finds out that Meredith broke up with Finn; the interns defend Bailey at an M&M meeting on Denny's death; and Meredith and Addison must extricate a divorced couple who find themselves together again. Meanwhile, Izzie has yet to cash Denny's $8.7 million check.

In case you miss Chris O'Donnell

Well sweeps are over, and that means tonight's show is a repeat. But it's a good one! You can also catch the first episode of Ugly Betty. Or you could watch Scrubs. I can't believe they put it up against Grey's! Well, I am getting a Tivo for Christmas and I can't wait!

Sometimes a Fantasy - Grey's Anatomy
Cristina tries to help Preston cope with his hand tremor; Izzie attempts to return to the hospital for the first time since she quit the program; Alex treats a foster child (Abigail Breslin) with an incredibly high pain threshold (and long history of injuries); and George wants Callie to move out of Meredith's house. Finn: Chris O'Donnell.

I saw Meredith and Derek at the Mall

I was at the mall this weekend and saw a giant poster in the NY&Co window of Derek and Meredith! So I had to check out the store's site to see what was up with that. Looks like Ellen Pompeo is modeling their clothes - with Patrick Dempsy as a very nice accessory! There is a little video on the site too about their shoot.

McSteamy & Uncle Jesse

I was reading a recent arcticle about ER and how it's trying to steam things up a bit to draw in the Grey's Anatomy viewers. Including brining in John Stamos this season. I think he's a little too old for Parminder Nagra. Kinda creeps me out, even if he is hot. She's probably the same age as his nieces on Full House! But ER is always good at the big picture, medical drama stuff, and most people I know who are fans of that show, aren't fans of Grey's. I kind of gave up on it a few years ago - I'm not interested much since all the old characters are gone.

But in the same issue of EW, I saw an ad for a movie staring John Stamos and Eric Dane. The two docs are both staring in the The Wedding Wars on A&E. Here's a description from from the site...

Love, family, politics and the right to marry intersect in the A&E Network original movie Wedding Wars. The romantic comedy from Executive producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago, The Reagans), stars John Stamos (ER, Full House), Eric Dane (X-Men: The Last Stand, Grey's Anatomy), James Brolin (The Reagans, Traffic, Catch Me if You Can) Bonnie Somerville (The O.C.,Grosse Point), Sean Maher (Firefly, Brian's Song) and Rosemary Dunsmore (The Grid).
Shel (Stamos), a gay party planner, agrees to organize the nuptials for straight brother Ben (Dane) to Maggie (Somerville), the Governor of Maine's (Brolin) daughter. After Shel finds out that Ben, a campaign manager for his future father-in-law, is behind the governor's speech against gay marriage, he decides to go on strike for equal rights. Shel's strike picks up steam and eventually spreads nationwide, leaving the impending wedding vows in the hands of a tacky planner and overall, in question.
Wedding Wars is directed by Jim Fall (Trick, The Lizzie McGuire Movie) from a script by Stephen Mazur (Liar, Liar).

Not sure when it's on. You'll have to check your local listings. :)
